Dr. Moshe Benarroch is a seasoned periodontist with a passion for transforming smiles and lives, one patient at a time. Born in Kansas City, MO, Dr. Benarroch has called the West Side of Los Angeles home since 1999. With a degree in psychology from Yeshiva University in Manhattan, he combines a deep understanding of the mind with his expertise in dental health, a journey that led him to Rutgers Dental School in New Jersey, where he earned his DMD in 1998.
Following a year of advanced training at Newark Beth Israel, Dr. Benarroch moved to LA to specialize in periodontics and dental implants. After completing his rigorous three-year specialty program in 2002, he began his dual roles as an attending periodontist at the Veterans Association and a private practitioner at Valencia Periodontics in 2003. Dr. Benarroch is not only a highly skilled periodontist but also a Certified QME for the State of California, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice. What he loves most about his work is helping people maintain their health, enjoy beautiful smiles, and live their lives to the fullest. His enthusiasm for his patients and his team is palpable, making him a cherished figure at Valencia Periodontics.
Outside of the office, Dr. Benarroch is a family man who loves to travel, particularly to tropical beach destinations with his wife, four kids, and one grandchild. He’s also a barbecue enthusiast, an avid card player with his friends, and a proud collector of American bourbon.
Dr. Benarroch’s dedication to his patients, combined with his love for the vibrant patient community and his exceptional team, makes him excited to come to work every day. Dr. Ian Pearson, D.M.D.

Dr. Ian Pearson is not just a skilled periodontist—he’s a passionate educator, dedicated to guiding his patients on their journey to better oral health. With a strong foundation in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, Dr. Pearson’s fascination with the science of oral health led him to the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his D.M.D. degree cum laude. His pursuit of excellence didn’t stop there; he specialized in Periodontics and Dental Implantology at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, graduating as chief resident.
As a Board-Certified Periodontist, Dr. Pearson combines his deep understanding of oral health with a gentle touch, even offering moderate IV sedation to ensure his patients’ comfort. His passion for periodontics shines through in his work, especially when educating patients about gum disease and the vital role it plays in their overall health. Dr. Pearson treasures the long-term relationships he builds with his patients, guiding them through their health journeys and celebrating their successes along the way.
Outside the office, Dr. Pearson is an avid outdoor enthusiast, always seeking new adventures in nature. He’s also a proud cat dad, a budding guitarist, and has a keen eye for film photography, capturing the world through a unique lens.

Dr. Dmitriy Ivanov, DDS

Dr. Dmitriy Ivanov is a highly skilled and board-certified periodontist who brings his expertise to Valencia Periodontics once a month, where he performs periodontal surgeries, gum grafts, and implants. The team and patients alike are grateful for his involvement, as his extensive training and compassionate care make a significant impact.
Dr. Ivanov’s journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, where he graduated summa cum laude. He then earned his DDS from the UCLA School of Dentistry, followed by an advanced residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.
During his residency, Dr. Ivanov focused on treating medically-compromised patients, full-mouth, rehabilitation, interdisciplinary period-prosthodontics reconstructive therapy, and full-arch implant treatment. His dedication and expertise led him to achieve Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery, cementing his reputation as a top specialist in his field.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ivanov has served as a clinical instructor of periodontics at the UCLA School of Dentistry and the UCLA Venice Dental Clinic. His passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom, as he continues to educate other dentists in various aspects of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Ivanov is a proud member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the California Society of Periodontics. His commitment to providing exceptional care is evident in his focus on periodontal disease treatment, hard and soft tissue augmentation, and dental implantology. He is also trained in moderate IV sedation, ensuring even the most anxious patients can receive the care they need comfortably.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ivanov cherishes quality time with his growing family and enjoys a range of hobbies, including snowboarding, camping, staying fit, cooking, and indulging in his love for music.
